Most of the data we collect is provided directly by you to Bump. We collect and process data when you:

On the Bump website:
- by browsing: IP address;
- by entering your details in "Host a station": email address;
- by applying for a job: email address;
- by subscribing to our newsletter: email address.

On Bump applications:
- by using: IP address;
- by registering: phone number;
- by registering: first name;
- by adding personal information: name;
- by adding a vehicle: license plate;
- by searching for a recharging station: GPS coordinates.

In our stations, at our charging stations:
- by recharging: authentication method.

- by filling in a form (satisfaction, customer experience): title, age group, telephone number, location, type of housing, profession.

- by calling our hotline: telephone number.

Data usage

Bump and its partners collect your information so that we, Bump, can:
- manage your account;
- monitor the proper functioning and technical performance of our services;
- perform analysis and statistics to improve our services;
- establish action logs to debug our services and assist you;
- fight fraud;
- meet legal and regulatory obligations;
- respond to your requests;
- send newsletters (to offer you new products or inform you about new features).

Legal basis for processing

In accordance with Article 6 of the RGPD, every processing of personal data must be based on at least one of the six legal bases provided for by the said regulation: legal obligation, contract, legitimate interest, consent, public interest, safeguarding vital interests.

Personal data collected and used for the above-mentioned purposes are collected and used on the following legal grounds: consent, legitimate interest and performance of a contract (GCU).

Data storage

Bump does not store your data directly, but uses the services of partners/providers for this purpose. We systematically choose secure data storage and, where possible, European servers.

Data retention period

Bump will retain your data for 24 months after your last use of our service. Once this period has expired, we will process your data by deletion or anonymization.

Recipients, service providers and partners

Personal data collected on the Bump website is primarily intended for Bump, but may be shared with our partners and service providers. We ensure that all our partners, providers and subcontractors are subject to adequate personal data protection mechanisms that comply with the RGPD. A list of our partners and service providers is available on request. Personal data will only be processed by authorized personnel bound by a confidentiality clause or other equivalent contractual document.

Email and SMS communication

Transactional communication

Transactional communications are necessary for the proper functioning of Bump services or to inform you of the status of your refills/purchases/... with Bump services.

Bump may send so-called transactional SMS or emails in the following cases: sending a code to connect to Bump's mobile and Web applications, sending a code to access restricted access stations, sending information related to a refill, a refill site, a payment, etc.

Marketing

Bump would like to send you information about our products and services that may be of interest to you. If you have agreed to receive marketing communications, you can always unsubscribe at a later date. You have the right at any time to prevent Bump from contacting you for marketing purposes.
